Smelter injured in accident
On May 15, 2023, at midday, the Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed that a crew member of the 'Blue Star 2' was injured inside the ship. The smelter was transferred to a private clinic for medical treatment.
Anchor loss off Rhodes
The Central Port Authority of Rhodes was informed in the morning hours of Sep 6, 2022, by the Master of the 'Blue Star 2' about the loss of the port side anchor, while the ship was northwest of Rhodes. The ship sailed safely to the port of Akadia, Rhodes, where it disembarked its 437 passengers. The Port Authority initially banned the ship from sailing until the presentation of a class maintenance certificate by the monitoring classification society.
Crew member injured on board
In the afternoon of Nov 19, 2021, the Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed about the injury of a crew member of the 'Blue Star' while the ship was moored in the port of Piraeus. The specialty cleaner was treated on shore. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Port Authority.
