Tanker towed to Tuzla
After repair attempts of the 'Denizati' which had been carried out by the crew at Aliaga anchorage failed, the tug 'Esenkiyi' was contracted for further assistance. The vessel was secured, and towage has commenced on Nov 12 towards the Tuzla shipyard area where the tanker arrived on Nov 14 at 12.15 p.m.
Disabled tanker towed to Aliaga
The 'Denizati' suffered a main engine failure in the Icarian Sea off Kallithea in position 37 43 24 N, 26 32 48 E on Nov 2, 2021, at 1.25 p.m. After towing aassistance was requested, the tug 'Pothitos' took the ship in tow towards Aliaga. Near Aliaga, another Greek tug boat was taksed to take pver the 'Denizati' for the port entry in Aliaga. After the arrival on Aliaga Inner Anchorage on Nov 3 at 9.40 a.m., the tug 'Goksuv' (271045559) went alongside.
