Assistant injured on board
The Port Authority of Igoumenitsa was informed in the morning of Sep 16, 2023, that a 19-year-old assistant of the 'Kydon Palace', had suffered an injury inside the ship to the left hand while trying to hold a deck door. In the morning of Sep 17, when the was berthed lying in the port of Igoumenitsa, the sailor went to the Igoumenitsa Health Center and then to the Filiaton Hospital for medical treatment. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Igoumenitsa.
Crew member injured in accident
The Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed on Feb 18, 2023, at noon by the Master of the 'Kydon Palace' about the injury of the 2nd engine driver outside the ship. In the Athens General Hospital G. Gennimatas, he was diagnosed with an injury to the left lower limb, as a result of a traffic accident with a two-wheeled vehicle. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the relevant Port Authority.
Crew member injured on board
On Jan 22, 2023, at noon the Central Port Authority of Piraeus was informed by the Master of the 'Kydon Papalce' about the injury of a 26-year-old crew member aboard the ship, which was docked at the port of Piraeus. The victim was transferred to Zaneio Hospital in Piraeus for the provision of medical care. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Piraeus.
