Fisherman died on board

On Dec 16, 2019 at 07:15 a.m. the CROSS Jobourg was informed a member of the crew of the 'L'Imagine' had felt unwell and become unconscious. The ship was 8.2 miles northwest of Ouistreham. The CROSS immediately deployed a Dragon 76 helicopter of the civil security in Le Havre with a team from the Le Havre mobile emergency service (SMUR-M) and the CODIS 76 on board to evacuate the sailor. At 08:25 a.m., the medical team was hoisted on board the vessel but could only note the death of the victim, despite the first aid provided by the crew of the fishing vessel. At 9 a.m., the rescue operation was over. At 12:15 p.m., the fishing vessel arrived at the port of Port-en-Bessin where specialized services and the gendarmerie took care of the deceased fisherman.

Fishing vessel recovered body off Fécamp

The "L'Imagina" caught a body in its fishing nets on in the afternoon of May 21, 2016, about 10 miles off Fécamp. The human body was recovered in the nets at 3 p.m. The body was unrecognizable because of the degradation during the stay in the water. The fishing vessel reported the gruesome discovery to the CROSS Gris-Nez. A police officer of the coastguard was taken to the ship aboard the SNSM-boat from Fécamp. The body was recovered at 6.30 p.m. and handed over to the Coastguard of Le Havre. Investigations were to be conducted to try to identify the body of the person whose age was estimated between 30 and 50 years.

Medevac off Port en Bessin

A crew member, aged 25, was medevaced from the "L'Imagine" in the evening of Mar 19, 2016, off Port-en-Bessin, at 9.45 p.m. The CROSS Jobourg was alerted by the fishing vessel 20 kilometers north of Fécamp. A Dauphin helicopter of the Navy base in Le Touquet was dispatched with a medical team from Le Havre on board. At 10.50 p.m. the Patient was delivered at the hospital of Le Havre.
