Cargo ship left yard after repair of collision damage
The "HSL Paraty", which had berthed at the Carneval Group Shipyards in Campamento for repairs of a broken suspension stirrup bridge, a cargo crane and the lifeboat which were destroyed in a crash with the Panama flagged vehicles carrier "MSC Immacolata" ( IMO: 9463205) on March 3 in Conakry, left the repair yard again on Apr 26 at 8.30 p.m. Next destination of the ship was Santa Cruz de Tenerife, ETA May 2. By Apr 27 the ship was moored off Guadarrance in pos. N 36° 10.31' W 005° 24.47' with the utiliy boat "Bay Protector" (IMO: 6801054) alongside.
Repairs in Campamento
On March 15, 2018, the "HSL Paraty" berthed at the Carneval Group Shipyards in Campamento for repairs of a broken suspension stirrup bridge, a cargo crane and the lifeboat which were destroyed in a crash with the "MSC Immacolata" on March 3 in Conakry. The ship had sailed from Conakry on March 7. By Apr 4 the ship was still stationary at the yard quay with repairs going on. On Apr 16 it was towed into the floating dock by the tugs "VB Algeciras", "VB Braco" and "VB Siroco".
