Ferry suffered bow thruster trouble
On Aug 16, 2018, the "Leiger" was sidelined due to technical problems. The ferry that had arrived off Rohuküla at 8.15 p.m. was drifting for several hours at sea near the port. Around 10 p.m. the ship was successfully taken to a berth where it turned out that the ship had a fault in bow thruster. A maintenance engineer was sent to the port order to find out the cause of the malfunction and its repair time. The line continued to be served by the ferry "Tiiu" and the "PL Mercandia" which had, however, less capacity so that there were significant disruptions. On Aug 17 at 8 a.m the repairs were finished.
