Medevac off Tenerife
The SAR boat 'Salvamar Tenerife' medevaced a passenger who had developed health problems from the 'MSC Seashopre' in the night of Nov 2, 2023. The patient was accompanied by a family member. The sick woman was transferred to Puerto Santa Cruz in Tenerife for further medical care.
Teenager died in jump over board
In the night of Dec 22 a 15 year old passenger jumped over board the 'MSC Seashore', en route from Miami to Nassau, on a cruise from the 16th deck. The teenager apparently died by suicide. The exact details remained unconfirmed, and the MSC cruise line investigation was ongoing.

MSC SEASHORE Christened on Ocean Cay – Photo Gallery The christening of the MSC SEASHORE took place on November 18, 2021 on the private island Ocean Cay MSC Marine Reserve. It was the very first time a cruise ship had been christened on a private island. Godmother was – surprise: Sophia Loren. It was her 16th christening of an MSC cruise ship. Along with the naming ceremony of MSC SEASHORE, the official inauguration of the Ocean Cay marine reserve also took place.
