Muhboot sank in Harburg - only head of plastic cow sticking out of the water

The "Muhboot", 91 ts (EU-No.:03030929), sank in the port of Harburg in the morning of Jan 27, 2017. The fire rescue was alerted at 7.20 a.m. and deployed the fire boat "Oberbaurat Schmidt", trying to get the ship, which had developed a strong list to starboard side, back on even keel. But the ship could not be kept afloat, and meanwhile only the cow of a plastic cow which has a height of five meters and was mounted on the foreship for advertising purposes was protruding from the water. Small amounts of diesel spilt from the wreck which was surrounded by oil booms.
