Potential robber fled from anchored ship
During routine rounds, the duty crew of the "Mykonos" noticed an unauthorized person attempting to board the vessel, from a small boat using a hook attached to a rope, while the vessel was moored at Batangas Anchorage in position 13 44 13 N, 120 56 32 E, on July 28, 2018, at 2.40 p.m. They informed the bridge, the alarm was activated, and the crew mustered. Seeing the alerted crew, the potential robber aborted the boarding attempt and escaped. The incident was reported to the local agent and the Philippines Coast Guard.
