LNG terminal to be built in Turku (Finland) by 2015
LNG terminal is to be built in Turku (Finland) by 2015, IAA PortNews journalist cites Tommy Mattila, Head of LNG, Gasum OY, as saying at Alternative Fuel Conference in Helsinki arranged by Northern Dimension Partnership on Transport and Logistics. According to Tommy Mattila, the terminal’s storage volume will be 30,000 cubic meters. The terminal will be primarily focused on servicing industrial consumers and it will be also used for bunkering purposes.

The large international naval exercise Northern Coasts 10 is being held in the Baltic Sea between September 13 and September 24, 2010. The exercise is hosted by the Finnish Navy and during the week end before it started most of the vessels visited Turku. In this two-week exercise, there are some 4,000 persons, 50 naval vessels, ten helicopters, one submarine and 25 aircraft involved. Read more: www.shipgaz.com/n...
