An offshore gas platform has sunk in the Caribbean Sea, but the incident poses no threat to the environment, Venezuela's oil minister says.The Aban Pearl platform sank off eastern Sucre state early Thursday morning. Oil Minister Rafael Ramirez said officials are monitoring the area, adding that there was no risk of leaks. President Hugo Chavez said in a message on Twitter that all 95 workers had been rescued.
