The "Alycia" suffered a leak in its main engine high pressure oil pump, through an oil seal, in pos. 50 19 50 N, 01 03 17 W, on Oct 20, 2018, 17,1 miles southeast of St. Catherine's Point, one day after its departure from Terneuezen. The ship transited the Panama Canal on Nov 7 and arrived on Taboguilla Anchorage on Nov 8.

Leak in main engine off St. Catherine's Point

The "Alycia", en route from Terneuzen to Paita, Peru, with a crew of 19 on board, sustained a leak in the main engine high pressure oil pump through the oil seal in position 050 19 50.0 N, 001 03 17.0 W, 1,.1 miles southeast of St. Catherine's Point on Oct 20, 2018, at 10.45 a.m. The repairs was estimated to take two hours. The vessel was carrying 15696 tons fertilisers.
