Passenger injured during disembarkation

The Port Authority of Heraklion was informed about the injury of a passenger of the 'FEstos Palace' in the morning of May 3, 2023, in the port of Heraklion. The 84-year-old passenger was injured at the head during the disembarkation, due to her falling down a staircase of the ship. The injured woman was picked up by an ambulance and transferred to the Venizelio Pananeio General Hospital of Heraklion. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Central Port Authority of Heraklion.

Bow thruster trouble in Souda Chania

The Central Port Authority of Chania was informed in the afternoon of March 2, 2021, by the Captain of the 'Festos Palace' about a malfunction in the bow thruster after entering the port of Souda Chania on the scheduled route to the ports of Heraklion and Piraeus with 19 passengers on board. The ship was banned from sailing until the presentation of a class maintenance certificate by the attending classification society. Then the departure was allowed for an individual voyage to the port of Piraeus via Heraklion.

Medevac in Chania

In the evening of May 12, 2019, the Central Port Authority of Chania was informed that a 23 year old passenger of the "Mykonos Palace" which was underway from Heraklion to Chania, had fallen ill. Upon the arrival of the ship at the port of Chania, the patient was disemabarked. An ambulance took him to the hospital of Chania, while the ship continued its scheduled route.
