Fined in Poti, Georgia
Georgian media reported on Nov 12 that Turkish boxship Ceyla K on Nov 8 was fined while staying in Poti, Georgia, Black sea, 50,000 lari (USD 30,000) “for violation of the shipping regulations”. As usual in such rather frequent cases in Georgia, authorities and media didn’t decoded the “violation of the shipping regulations” term. Reportedly vessel was checked by the police and the Coast Guard while being anchored on Poti road. Vessel left Poti on Nov 13 bound for Ambarli Turkey. Maritime Bulletin http://www.odin.tc
