Tuticorin port gets weekly container feeder service to Colombo
TUTICORIN: A new weekly container feeder service with port rotation of Colombo - Kochi - Colombo - Tuticorin - Colombo commenced from the Dakshin Bharat Gateway Terminal (DBGT), the second container terminal of V O Chidambaranar Port from January 20. The container feeder vessel MV Asiatic Neptune made the maiden call for the service. According to port sources, Asiatic Neptune operated by Bengal Tiger Line (BTL) is expected to add approximately 40,000 TEUs (20ft equivalent units) per year.
