Robbers boarded ship off Samarinda

The "Super Caroline" was boarded by two armed robbers, at the Muara Berau anchorage, Samarinda, on Oct 17, 20918, at 5.30 p.m. A crew member noticed the robbers on the forecastle deck and informed the duty officer, who raised the alarm. The crew mustered and proceeded to the forward deck to investigate. After conducting a search, they discovered that vessel's stores had been stolen, by the robbers. The incident was reported to local authorities.

Damages during cargo operation off Chittagong

The "Super Caroline" suffered damages to cargo hold no.3, the starboard-side handrail pipe upper part, round bars middle, lower part and frames including the frame of the cross deck cargo hold 3 and 4, due to the movement of a barge while alongside and receiving the cargo at the Chittagong outer anchorage on Aug 7, 2018. The captain of the vessel has held the charterers, Pacific Basin Handysize BVI, the stevedoring Company responsible for the damage, as a result of their stevedoring operations.
