Roro ship broke from its moorings

Fri Jul 08 09:25:43 CEST 2016 Timsen

The "Avatar" broke from her moorings in Kaohsiung in the morning of July 8, 2016, at 7.55 a.m. in gale force winds brought by typhoon Nepartak. The ship shifted out to sea after the strong winds snapped three cables until port tugs managed to gain control and dock the ship at another berth. No one was injured and the vessek did not hit a Taiwan navy vessel which was docked at the same pier.
