Fuel injector trouble in English Channel

The 'BBC Lima', en route from Delfzilj to Aveiro with an ETA as of April 26, 2022, suffered mechanical issues in position 50 20.367 N, 001 25.217 W, approximately 17 nautical miles from St Catherines Point, Isle of Wight, on April 23 at 09.45 a.m. UTC, today. The crew started replacing the fuel injector with an estimated repair time of one hour.

Engine shut down due to low pressure

The 'BBC Lima', en route from Radicatel to Marin, with 12 crew members on board, suffered a technical fault in position 50 02 56N, 002 30 58W, about 32 nautical miles south of Portland Bill on July 29, 2021, at 1.20 a.m. The crew shut down its engines after a system alarm to investigate the fault which was found to be low pressure. About half an hour later, the vessel continued its voyage with an ETA as of July 31.

Two port workers died in Antwerp

Two port workers died aboard the "MCL Bremen" on Feb 28, 2012. They were buried under 40 tons of tubes at the Antwerp MSC Terminal.
