Cape Baltic likely to head for Mediterranean

Thu Feb 07 10:23:06 CET 2013 Timsen

Unloading operations of the "Cape Baltic" in El Musel were expected to be completed by Feb 8. Next the bulkcarrier will likely move to a Turkish shipyard for repairs in dry dock. The shipping company was negotiating with shipyards in different Mediterranean ports for repairs. The closest shipyards in Ferrol, Lisbon and Cadiz did not have space as they were busy with other work. The "Cape Baltic" will head to the Mediterranean after completion of discharge of the cargo of iron ore.
