Container ship boarded by perpetrators
The 'Cape Martin', which was moored at the Vung Tau anchorage, was boarded by unarmed perpetrators on Nov 3, 2020, at 01.30 a.m. The duty crew noticed the perpetrators,and the alarm was immediately raised. The 7-8 perpetrators jumped overboard and escaped in a small boat. The crew conducted a search and noticed cans of paint (primer -12 cans, finish white -2 cans, hardener -7 cans) were stolen from the paint store. None of the crew was injured. The incident was reported to Vung Tau Port Control, and they notified the Vietnam authorities and the Vietnam Coast Guard.
