Injured crew member medevaced off Thessaloniki

In the afternoon of March 8, 2023, the Port Authority of Thessaloniki was informed by the Captain of the 'Gal' about the injury of a 26-year-old crew member aboard the ship, which had sailed from the port of Thessaloniki to Nogara. The vessel proceeded to the Thessaloniki anchorage, where the patient was transferred onto the "Afovos' andsafely transported to the port of Thessaloniki, where he was picked up by an ambulance and transferred to the University General Hospital of Thessaloniki.

Master found intoxicated after near grounding incident

The Christine', enroute from Frederiksaerk to Riga, was heading straight for land outside Helsingborg in the night of Jan 16, 2020. The Swedish Maritime Administration repeatedly tried to make contact with the vessel and finally succeeded. The ship changed course just in time to avoid a grounding. At the request of the Coast Guard, a pilot was taken aboard to safely navigate it to Landskrona where it berthed on Jan 17 at 2.20 a.m.. The master of the ship has been arrested in Malmö on suspicion of drinking at the helm on a decision by the prosecutor. At the same time, the investigation was continuing. The man had 1.38 per thousand alcohol in the blood. The ship sailed again on Jan 18 at 8.20 a.m. with a new captain and resumed the voyage to Riga with an ETA as of Jan 20, 7 p.m.

Coaster lost anchor

The "Christine" lost its 600 kilogram port side anchor along with five shackles in the traffic separaation scheme off Vlieland in position 53 38 03.6 N, 005 02 37.2 E, on Feb 9, 2019, at 07.35 a.m. The ship had sailed from Bremen on Feb 7 at 5.50 p.m. and was bound to Novorossyisk. It sailed from Rotterdam on Feb at 7.15 p.m.with an ETA at Novorossiysk as of March 3.
