Engine trouble near Saint Joachim

The 'Ferbec' suffered a problem with its main engine in position 47 02 28.6N, 070 49 29.0W, near Saint Joachim on Nov 12, 2020, at 03.15 a.m. It proceeded to the nearest anchorage. The crew carried out repairs, and at 10.30 a.m. the ship resumed its voyage from Sorel to Lower Cove.

Fuel tank crack

The 'Ferbec' suffered a crack in one of its fuel tanks whilst bunkering diesel oil in Sorel, Quebec, on Oct 30, 2019. Temporary repairs were carried out. The ship left Sorel again on Nov 3 at 10.50 p.m.

Propulsion failure off Batiscan

The "Ferbec" suffered a failure of its propulsion system off Batiscan, Quebec, in position 46 29 37.8N, 72 13 59.7W, on July 27, 2019, at 12.20 a.m. The vessel subsquently anchored off Grondines, where the crew carried out repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage. The ship sailed from Grondines at 11.35 a.m. and arrived at its destination, Havre St. Pierre, on July 28 at 3.40 p.m.
