Allision in Vathi

During the mooring manoever, the "Diagoras" allided with the pier of the port in Vathi, Samos, on Aug 24, 2022, with 356 passengers, two trucks, 81 vehicles and 19 two-wheelers on board. The ship was banned from sailing until being inspected and receiving a certificate of seaworthiness certificate by the attending classification society. The "Diagoras" then departed for its planned itinerary on the route Piraeus, Mykonos, Leros, Patmos, Ag. Kyryko, Fourni, Vathi, Chios, Mytilini, Lemnos and Kavala.

Allision in Chios

The "Diagoras" allided with the quay of the port of Chios in the night of Jan 30, 2019. The ship had on board 127 passengers, 22 trucks and four motorbikes and was enroute from Mytilene, where it had sailed at 6 p.m. via Chios to Piraeus. In Chios another 100 passengers along with some vehicles came on board. The ship suffered a breach at the stern with a length of 70 centimeters about 1.5 meters above the waterline. There were no injuries nor water ingress or marine pollution. An inspection was immediately carried out by the Local Ferry Inspection of the port of Chios, andafter the presentation of a confirmation of class maintenance by the attending classification society the ferry was allowed to leave the port with a delay of some hours and berthed in Piraeus on Jan 31 at 7.40 a.m.

Passenger fell from ferry ramp

In the night of July 5, 2018, the Port Authority of Myrina was informed that during the disembarkation of passengers from the "Diagors" which had arrived at the port coming from Kavala a 88-year-old passenger fell from the roro ramp and was injured. He was taken by an ambulance of EKAB to the Health Center of Lemnos, where he remained hospitalized. A preliminary investigation was carried out by the Port Authority of Myrina.
