Chief Engineer died on board
The Chief Engineer of the 'Epic St. Kitts' died on board of the ship on June 10, 2020, when the tanker arrived at Mongla port. According to a preliminary examination, the 43-year old Chinese national died from a heart attack, while working. His body was taken to a hospital for examination, to be transferred later to the Hubei province. He had been on board during last seven months. During the last three months, the tanker was trading in the waters of the Bay of Bengal.
