Livestock carrier under repair at Cesme

The 'Etab', while en route from Jeddah, where it had sailed on Nov 21, 2020, to the Black Sea via Suez in ballast, suffered a technical failure and sheltere at Cesme anchorage on Nov 27. Repairs were started by the crew and were going on as of Nov 29.

Technical failure in Istanbul Strait

The "Etab" suffered a technical failure during the Istanbul Strait passage on May 16, 2018. The livestock carrier dropped anchor on the Buyukdere Anchorage for repairs and passed Sulina after resuming the voyage on May 21.

M/V Etab refused access to Paris MoU region

On 17th November 2014 M/V “ETAB” with IMO number 6609779 was detained in Tarragona (Spain). This is the third detention in the Paris MoU region within the last 36 months. The ship flies the flag of Comoros which is black on the current Paris MoU WGB list. The ship will be refused further access to any port and anchorages in the Paris MoU region, except a port of the ship's flag State. This refusal will become applicable immediately after the ship is authorized to leave this port and anchorage.As this is the first refusal of access order the period of the refusal of access will be 3 months.
