Engine failure off Cape Wrath

The "Father McKee", en route from Killybegs, suffered an engine failure approximately 35 nautical miles northwest of Cape Wrath, in position lat 59 11N, long 005 11W, on Jan 10, 2018, at 2.30 p.m. The vessel was taken under tow by the Irish fish carrier "Brendelen" (IMO: 9295880), prceeding at at 8,5 knots, course 209 deg, back to Killybegs. The weather at scene was slight westerly wind with a small swell, later moderate or rough seas. The convoy was back in port on Jan 11 at 10.30 p.m. The fish carrier sailed from Killybegs on Jan 17 at 6 p.m.
