Ferry rescued crew of sailing yacht

On Nov 5, 2018, the sailing yacht "Harremana" sank 14 miles north of Maó due to a water ingress. The rescue operation was coordinated by the Maritime Rescue Center in Palma. The "Vizzavona" was diverted to the positin and rescued the crew of two in good condition. Later they were transferred to the SAR boat "Salvamar Antares" and taken to Maó.

Corsica Linea’s VIZZAVONA handed over after drydocking and refit in Marseille

The seventh ferry to join the fleet of Corsica Linea, the 30,144gt, 1999-built VIZZAVONA, has been handed over today, 5 June, in Ajaccio, in a ceremony attended by the French Economy and Finance Minister, Bruno Le Maire, following a drydocking and refit at Chantier Naval de Marseille.
