Tanker released for scrapping

The 'Gagasan Johor', which had been in collision with the 'Banglar Shikha' at the outer anchorage of Chittagong on May 21, 2016, during the passage of the Cyclone Roanu', and which was under attachment since Nov 9, 2017, was released on June 6, 2021. The vessel will be scrapped in Bangladesh.

The 'Gagasan Johor', which had been in allsion with the 'Banglar Shikha' at Chittagong Outer Anchorage on May 21, 2016, during the passage of the Cyclone Roanu, was still under arrest as of May 7. A lack of interest from stakeholders was delaying the release of the vessel.

The "Gagasan Johor" which had been in collision with the "Banglar Shikha" at the outer anchorage of Chittagong on May 21, 2016 during the passage of the cyclone "Roanu, which was under attachment since Nov 9, 2017., was still under arrest on May 31, 2019, waiting for owner's instructions. The "Banglar Shikha" was broken up n 2017.
