Pandemic ended ship's career
The 'Holger Danske' has become a victim of the corona pandemic. On Dec 6 she started the final voyage to Grenaa after having been laid up since April 2020 in Rödbyhavn. Due to decreasing transport rates the remaining five ferries on the route were enough on the long term. Initially Scandlines had hoped to return the ship soon, but as the situation remained unchanged, it was decided to sell it to breakers. The ship arrived at the Fornaes Ship Recycling in Grenaa on Dec 7.
