Engine damage off Tromsø

On Sep 25, 2017, the "Hordavor IV" suffered engine damage in the Grøt Sound after having sailed from Skjervøy in the foremidday hours. Grounding in Tufjord

The "Hordavor IV" ran aground in the Tufjord on Mar 30, 2015, in strong SSE-winds. The NSSR-lifeboat "Odin" was called to an inspection regarding possible damages which was carried out by divers in the Havøy Sound. Norwegian Report with photo: https://twitter.com/NSSR/status/582470408605212672

On Mar 13, 2010, the Norwegian trawler "Hundvakoy" and the "Hordafor IV" collided near Finsnes. While the "Hordafor IV" suffered only slight damages, the fishing vessel nearly sank and was grounded on rocks with 30 degrees list to starboard and a flooded engine room, the stern partially submerged. The crew was safely evacuated. The "Hundvakoy" (IMO: 7805033) was built in 1979 and measures 1443 gt.
