Truck toppled over and crushed cars

The "Gerbang Samudra 2" (IMO: 8628602) was caught in rough seas in the night of May 14, 2019, while crossing the Bali Strait en route from Gilimanuk Port, Bali, to Ketapang Port, Java. One of the trucks on the cargo deck, loaded with rice, toppled over at 11.30 p.m. and crushed two minibus cars underneath, one Toyota Avanza and a pickup. Both were severely damaged. Nobody was injured, though many passengers were scared by the jolt and crushing noise. The ferry safely reached Ketapang and moored near the Navy Base Banyuwangi until getting quay space.
