Ferry suffered steering trouble
On Apr 22, 2018, at 11:30 a.m. the "Pancar Indah", coming from the port of Ketapang, suffered trouble of the steering gear and went adrift off the wharf at Gilimanuk port. The 28-seater vessel had seven motorcycles, one car, two large trucks and three truck units on board. The ship drifted with the current of the Bali Strait about 500 meters off the wharf in Gilimanuk. At 1.30 p.m. the "Pancar Indah" managed to dock at Gilimanuk using the manual steering.
