Engine trouble near Lanoraie

The 'Quebec Express' suffered a problem with its main engine near Lanoraie on Feb 16, 2021, at 12.55 a.m. It proceeded to the nearest anchorage where the crew carried out repairs and later the ship resumed its voyage from Montreal to Southampton, UK; with an ETA as of Feb 25.

The 'Quebec Express', while berthed in section 78 of the Port of Montreal, Quebec, allided with the dock after starting to move in the swell of a passing vessel in position 45 34 31.0 N, 073 30 34.4 W, on Nov 14, 2020, at 1.47 p.m. Minor damage to both the 'Quebec Express' and the port facility was reported. The ship left the port on Nov 18 at 8.45 a.m., headed to Southampton, UK, with an ETA as of Nv 25.

OOCL's Gateway Express 2 drops DP World for PSA in Antwerp

Hong Kong's Orient Overseas Container Line (OOCL), now a Cosco unit, has changed Antwerp terminals on its Gateway Express 2 (GEX2) service from Antwerp DPW Gateway facility to PSA Antwerp on the arrival of the 4,045-TEU Quebec Express on March 13.The transatlantic GEX2 rotates through Southampton, Antwerp, Hamburg, Montreal and returns to Southampton.For any questions or enquiries, please contact our local customer service representatives, said the OOCL customer advisory.
