Tug and barge ran aground
The "Manyplus 1" along with the barge "AZ Shanghai" ran aground 200 meters away from the Roxas Boulevard, Manila, on Oct 18, 2015, at 04.45 a.m. The barge, loaded with 7500 tons of coal,had arrived to Manila on Oct 16 from Indonesia, and was anchored at the quarantine anchorage area. The tug dragged anchor in the typhoon Lando and drifted aground. The crew of 10 was saved.
