Engine failure near Fethiye

The 'MSB 1', while en route from Tripoli, Lebanon to Volos, suffered an engine failure on Sep 27, 2020. The vessel sheltered and dropped anchor off Fethiye, where the crew started conducting repairs. It then resumed its voyage with an ETA as of Sep 30 at 1.50 a.m.

On its way from Constanta the cargo m/v "Fiesta" (IMO: 9161854) collided with the "Sandrella" coming from the same port after passing the Dardanelles Strait, 5 miles off Tavsan Island, in the Aegean Sea in pos 39 56.5 N 025 53.3 E, on Mar 28, 2010, at 2.40 p.m. Both vessels proceeded the Straiut southbound. The "Kıyı Emniyeti 6", "Kurtarma 2" and "Söndüren 4" were sent to the scene and pulled both ships to safety. The "Fiesta" was damaged at the stern, the "Sandrella" in the foreship region.
