Main switch board issue off Bawdsey
The 'OOCL United Kingdom', en route from Felixstowe to Gdansk, suffered an issue with the main switch board in position 51 53 00.0 N, 002 11 12.0 E, about 30 nautical miles from Bawdsey on Jan 16, 2022. After repairs were carried out by the crew, the vessel resume its voyage with an ETA as of Jan 19.

With the maiden call of ms OOCL United Kingdom at Cosco Shipping Ports Terminal Zeebrugge early in the morning of May 18, a new record was set in the port of Zeebrugge. The 21,413 TEU vessel is the largest container carrier in the world, deployed in the Far East/Europe services of the Ocean Alliance.
