15 rescued crew members landed in Karachi

The Pakistan Navy and Pakistan Maritime Security Agency have handed over the 15 rescued crew members of Syrian nationality of the 'Suvari H' to the Karachi Port Trust on Aug 1. All were in good condition. Meanwhile, the Pakistan Navy and PMSA ships were also conducting search and rescue operations for the three missing crew members around the reported position.

Sinking ship abandoned, 13 crew members missing

The 'Suvari H' got in distress and started sinking on July 29, 2021, about 180 nautical miles east of the Gulf of Kutch in pos. 21 55 09.0N, 65 50 21.6E. The crew abandoned ship, and five crew were rescued, while 13 remained missing. The vessel had left Kandla on July 26, headed to Bosasso and was caught in stormy weather which caused the shipwreck.
