Tow to breakers in Grenaa

On April 12, 2021, the "SC Nordic' has left Aalborg under tow of the tug "Egesund" (IMO: 9059248), bound to Fornaes Shipbreaking, Grenaa, as her final destination where it arrived on April 13 at 12.30 p.m.

SC Nordic disabled by generator defect

The "SC Nordic", en route from Sheerness to Amsterdam in ballast, suffered a generator defect and consequently was being unable to manoeuvre, at 024 degrees and 2.9 nautical miles from North Foreland Light House, in position 51 25 09.0N, 001 28 35.4E, on Feb 4, 2018, at 5 p.m. The vessel was drifting at 0.5 knots in 171 degrees. One anchor has been deployed. With gales forecast, tugs from Sheerness and Dover have been alerted by the ship's agent to assist if required. The generator defects were rectified and the vessel was continuing its passage to Amsterdam, where it safely berthed in the Bering Port on Feb 5 at 10.45 a.m.

Ship reached Muuga after collision

After their collision on Feb 16 at 10.44 a.m. off Lavvensaari, the “Magdalena” berthed in the Bekker Port at Tallinn on Feb 17 at 9 a.m. The ship has a damaged forepeak. The "SC Nordic" reached Muuga around the same time and will get the gash in its ballast tank no. 3 repaired.
