The "Sarah" which has been berthed in Montrose harbour since September 30, 2011, moved from the north quay to the south quay on April 15., 2011. The "Sarah" had to move to enable the port to accommodate incoming ships. The "Sarah" has been stranded in Montrose while the future of its owner, Marine Subsea (UK), was determined. The Aberdeen-based subsidiary of Norwegian oil and gas service provider Marine Subsea called in the liquidators 2010 and consequently the vessel was repossessed during the winding up process. The "Sarah" was repossessed in late November and the financiers began looking to sell the vessel after the company, like many others, fell victim to the effects of the recession.
