Disabled ship towed from Genoa to Piraeus
On Jan 17, 2021, the 'Solstice N.' suffered a technical failure at Genoa. Since the crew could not carry out the repairs, the Italian offshore supply vessel 'A. H. Liguria' (IMO:9381495) was called to pull the ship to Piraeus for repairs. The towage commenced on Jan 25 at 2 p.m., and the convoy arrived in port on Jan 31 at 11.30 a.m. A new set of spare parts from the manufacturers has been provided by the owners, and the repairs were being conducted by the shore-based technical teams, at the repair yard in Piraeus.
