Derelict vessel pulled out of Zoutkamp
The derelict "Friesland - ST 5" which has been in Zoutkamp for several months, was dragged away in the morning of June 1, 2017, by the municipality. It was the first time, the municipality of De Marne was acting in this way as they were unable to get in contact with the German owner who left the ship unattended. Reportedly the owner was bankrupt. The Bos Marine Services pulled the ship to the other side of thepier where it will remain berthed for thirteen weeks. If the skipper does not react, it will be sold or demolished.
