Stena Bulk charters out LNG carrier Stena Blue Sky

Stena Bulk has signed an agreement covering the charter of the LNG carrier Stena Blue Sky for the North West Shelf Project in Australia. The duration of the charter is up to three years with a possible further extension as a goal. The contract was signed at current market freight rates.

Sakhalin Energy charters Stena Blue Sky to transport LNG to customers

Sakhalin Energy, the Sakhalin-2 project operator has chartered the Swedish tanker Stena Blue Sky of 145000cbm capacity to transport LNG to customers, RIA Novosti reports. On September 6, 2011 the LNG laden ship set off from Prigorodnoye port to China. The LNG carrier is expected to return in late September. The 72000dwt Stena Blue Sky is owned by Swedish company Stena Bulk.
