The 'Espada Desgagnes' suffered propulsion issues in position 46 17 32 N, 072 34 42.6 W, on the St. Lawrence River off Yamachiche, Quebec,on Dec 31, 2021, at around 3.30 p.m. The vessel anchored off Trois-Rivières, Quebec, to assess the issue and carry out repairs, and berthed in Montreal on Jan 2, 2022.

Fuel injection pump failure in Montreal

The 'Espada Desgagnes',, while preparing for the departure from section 106 in the Port of Montreal, Quebec, was disabled due to the failure of one of the main engine's fuel injection pumps, on Dec 8, 2020. The crew carried out repairs and the vessel resumed its voyage on Dec 10 and berthed in Quebec on Dec 11.
