Bulkcarrier arrested in Singapore

The "Tina" was arrested in Singapore on Sep 11, 2018, at 6.30 p.m. The arresting solicitor was Haridass Ho & Partners. The vessel was located at Eastern Working Anchorage. The bulkcarrier has been sold on Jan 3, 2019.

Disabled bulkcarrier taken in tow in Indian Ocean

The "Tina" suffered engine failure on Sep 13, 2017, in the Indian Ocean off South Africa, while en route from Rio Grande to Singapore. According to the AIS track, she encountered engine problems since Sep 3 in the Atlantic, managed to sail to the Indian Ocean and from Sep 9 until Sep 13 was moving in legs at a minimal speed off East London. On Sep 13 she was taken on tow by the offshore supply tug "Pacific Diligence" (IMO: 9631395), which had left Cape Town on Sep 11. The bulkcarrier was being towed to Durban at a speed of about three knots, ETA Sep 18.

Bulkcarrier arrested in Ennore

The Tina" was arrested in Ennore following a Madras High Court order, which granted a suit from the STX Corporation, Korea. The owner of the vessel failed to make a payment of $115,039 for supplied bunker fuel. A final notice was sent to the owner on Mar 9, 2016, but didn’t result in any response.
