SMARTONE - Satellite based tracking

The SMARTONE with its flat and unimposing design enables an easy installation without any cable, external power supply or antenna. No special equipment is needed for the start-tup of the device.
Equipped with 4 standard AA-Lithium-Batteries the SMARTONE is able to send positions and status up to 4 years.

Above and beyond the GPS position additional data can be transmitted. The device includes a motion sensor and an interface for 2 user-specific configurable sensors (e.g. door, tank, alert). Every SMARTONE unit can be programmed specifically, so that rotative messages and alerts can be sent.

No GSM card is required. The device communicates with a simplex-communication over the LEO Globalstar satellite network. In paticular in areas with insufficient GSM availability or infrequent roaming, satellite systems like this are the first choice for tracking and alerting solutions. Moreover the transmitting cannot be disrupt by "GSM-jammers".

Even at extreme temperatures of -40°C and up to +85°C the device works fine. The device fulfils several automotive and military reliability of standards e.g. shock, salt fog, dust etc. an is IP-68 protected.
