Ship Tracking with Google Earth

At vesseltracker.com we use Google Earth for real time ship tracking. The position data we receive from our AIS network is integrated into the satellite images of Google Earth. Given the high resolution of images and simple navigation, you can track your ships easily with this solution.

The information is processed with minimal delay, thus, if you are located at the coast, you can see a ship pass by on Google Earth and in the real world simultaneously. The transmitted AIS positions data is so accurate that the exact location and position of the ships in port are easily determined. Our geographic database also contains data on ports and berths, therefore the name of the current berth can be displayed on each ship.

For each ship comprehensive additional information, such as speed, draught, course and correct direction is displayed.

With the integrated search function you can easily find the vessel you are looking for, wherever it is currently located.

Browser-based Map View

For people who cannot or do not want to install an external application for ship tracking, we provide data on ships positions on a map which can be viewed directly on the web.

You can either choose a satellite map or normal road map. In both views the ships' exact positions are displayed.

For best results, we recommend the use of Internet Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox version 1.5 or greater.

Automatic Alerting via Telephone, E-Mail or SMS

We understand that you have no time to look into our system all day long only to await arrival of some ships?

We therefore provide automatic vessel alerting via e-mail and SMS (Short message service). We will notify you when the ship enters a port or a region which is of interest to you.

Additionally we have recently started an additional service offering wakeup calls for your alerts. This way you will be immediately and individually informed about arrivals and departures important to you.

You will never miss a ship's arrival, even when you are travelling.

vesseltracker.com offers you the possibility to ingegrate our functions and data as a map, XML-webservice or White Label Solution into your Internet presence or your software application.

GAT-Ship Integration

The GAT-Ship Operation and Quality Program is a well-proven planning, management and documentation program. It is created and developed especially for Ship Agents in order to economise, standardize and systematize all port call routines.

The Program reduces time-consuming office work to a practical minimum by reducing paperwork and by implementing standardized computer procedures. Information is entered only once, for use in various documents and e-mails. Document handlings therefore become easier and far more reliable. At management level, the system includes an overview of statistics and business activities.
