Barge allided with bridge in Seelze
On Aug 13, 2013, at 4.30 p.m. the "Pankgraf" allided with a bridge spanning the Hannover-Linden-Canal at Seelze. The unloaded ship was too high to pass underneath. The captain, who was coming from the Mittelland Canal was slightly hurt. The wheelhouse of the ship was completely destroyed. Following the allision, the ship drifted on the canal and hit two motor boats in the marina of Seelze which also suffered slight damage. The damage to the "Pankgraf" was estimated to be around 150.000 Euro.
