Mon Nov 10 09:31:43 CET 2014 Timsen

The detention of the "Wan May" was lifted in the morning of Nov 9 and the ship headed again for Port Drummond in Columbia. On Nov 9 the police completed a search of the ship and released the crew of 20. On Nov 8 found a group made up of staff from the police and SKAT found 20 kilograms of pure cocaine in a raid on board the bulk carrier which had arrived at Stigsnæsværket with a cargo of coal Colombia the previous day. En route from Colombia had the ship also called at Rotterdam. The police detained and interrogated the entire crew, but the interrogations did not provide information that was strong enough for the police for individual suspects. "The investigation has confirmed the police that the cocaine should have been transported to another European country. We will, in conjunction with the National Police pursue the international perspective in the investigation, "says Kim Kliver, police inspector in South Zealand and Lolland-Falster police, TV2 East. Sold on the street in Denmark cocaine valued at around 11 million, representing a price of 550 dollars per gram. Drugs Found will now be destroyed.

20 kg heroin found on coal carrier

Sat Nov 08 11:56:11 CET 2014 Timsen

The Danish police has found 20 kg pure cocaine in a raid on board the "Wan May" in the harbor of Stigsnæsværket. The entire ship's 20-man crew has so far been withheld. On Nov 6, 2014, the ship arrived at Stigsnæs coming from Rotterdam, but before it had been in Colombia. There was good reason to believe that the drugs were coming from there . It was quite strong cocaine, according to the preliminary tests. Although the discovery was made in Skaelskoer, the drugs were hardly destined for the Danish market. The police believed that the cocaine should have been unloaded in another European country than Denmark. The drugs were representing a price of 550 dollars per gram.
