Vessel MV “Wide Bravo” damaged when it encountered heavy weather conditions en route from Genoa to Tilbury

Mon Jan 11 09:36:46 CET 2016 arnekiel

Vessel MV “Wide Bravo” voyage 6002S was damaged when it encountered heavy weather conditions en route from Genoa to Tilbury. The damage is so severe that the vessel needs to be repaired in Rotterdam and the repairs will take approximately until January 11, 2016. In order to maintain the schedule integrity and to avoid further delays, it has been agreed to omit the ports of Genoa, Fos and Sydney on the southbound voyage. All cargo for port of discharge Genoa that has already been loaded in Rotterdam will be discharged in Damietta and transshipped to the next EAX northbound vessel which will call Genoa. All Sydney cargo which has already been loaded in Rotterdam will be transshipped in Melbourne to other services for final discharge Sydney. Source Hapag-Lloyd
