Technical failure in Istanbul Strait

The 'Black Sea S.', while enroute from Marmara Ereglisi to Giurgiulesti, suffered a technical failure during the transit of the Istanbul Strait passage at Kadikoy point on May 27, 2021, at 5 a.m. The vessel proceeded to the Istanbul anchorage and dropped anchor for repairs by the crew. It then resumed its voyage with an ETA as of May 29.

Technical failure at Nemrut Bay

The "Black Sea S." suffered a technical failure at Nemrut Bay, on July 16, 2018. The vessel's departure permission has been cancelled by the Maritime Authority until completion of permanent repairs. Repairs were still being carried out by the crew, and the ship sailed from Nemrut Bay on July 23 at 10 a.m., arriving at Istanbul Anchorage at 6.50 p.m. on July 24.

Engine failure in Izmir

On Jan 1, 2018, the "Black Sea S" experienced a technical failure of the auxiliary engine together with an emergency support system at Izmir. Repairs were carried out by the crew, and on Jan 5 the ship left Izmir around 3 a.m., bound to Icdas.
